Dear
Riverdave - I had such a wonderful wafting experience! Your
openess to 360 degree thinking is so wonderfully counter-cultural and
much needed, as well as
appreciated! Nancy
Walker - Chapel Hill NC May 2008
Dear
Riverdave - My family very much
enjoyed wafting with you today. My kids (4 and 6-years-old) got a
great pleasure just from being out with us, while the rest of us loved
the cosmic nature of the experience. My husband and I have been
coming to West Point on the Eno off and on for 30+ years. I'm
glad a friend finally turned us on to wafting. Thanks for the
experience and blessings to you and yours.
Jeanne Dellinger - Raleigh NC May 2008
Dear
Riverdave and Riojosie - Thank you for the
exciting staff wafting expereince yesterday. We enjoyed seeing the Eno
River. One would never have guessed something so relaxing could
be found in the heart of Durham. It was nice to have a change of
perspective from our office. We have told friends and colleagues
about the trip, and we plan to arrange another outing next
year. Kristin Smith - Credit Suisse
Securities, Research Triangle Park NC September 2007
Dear
Riverdave - Wafting the Eno was as close to floating on Cloud 9 as I
ever expect to be. It was wonderful out there on the river sensing
nature and taking in the beauty from my super-comfy inflatable
kayak. Ellen Lyle - Raleigh NC January 2007
Saludos Riojosie - What a
great way to spend
a Saturday morning. It feels like I had a mini-vacation, and I
was able to get back to working Saturday afternoon feeling refreshed.
This is the kind of thing many of the teachers at school would love to
do. I look forward to wafting with you again.
Sinceramente, Linda Puente -
Durham NC September 2006, Jordan High School Spanish Teacher (in response to a spanish language wafting trip led by Riojosie)
Dear Riverdave - Thank you so much for the
remarkable, profound service you give to our community and thank you
for making my dream of floating down the river on my birthday weekend
come true. Sincerely ... Karen Ziegler - Durham NC September 2006
Dear
Riverdave - Thank you for a very special trip last night.
During the downstream leg of trip my companion leaned back and
whispered "This is sooooooo neat!" I've been enjoying the Eno for years
(and have been intending to go wafting for years). Your night
trip added a very special dimension to my appreciation of the
river. I'm going to try and go on a day trip before your season
ends, and maybe another night trip. Thanks
again. Chuck Davis - Durham NC August
2006

Dear
Riverdave and Riojoise - Our family enjoyed Saturday afternoon's
expedition tremendously. Thank you for your hospitality, wisdom
and good humor. Besides being a beautiful and educational
experience, it was a great opportunity to do something positive as a
family. Four year old Charlotte, almost seven Graham, and nine
year old Ryan were unusually peaceful and content this evening. I
would credit the calming influence of the river, and paradoxically,
letting their wild sides out for a stroll, as you say. There will
definitely be more wafting in the future for us. Tim & Janet
Jones - Chapel Hill NC June 2005
