Directions to West Point on the Eno Park - 5101 N. Roxboro St. in Durham. Caution - do not use Map Quest, as it has lead many far astray! The Eno Parklands include entrances that are up in Orange County miles away from wafting!

From Durham and points west: Take the Duke Street exit off of Interstate 85.   Proceed north on Duke Street (which becomes Roxboro St.) for three and one half miles and you will come to Seven Oaks Road.  On the left will be a gate with a sign that says "West Point on the Eno Park." Turn left into the gate and then continue right until you reach the bottom of the hill. Place your car in the lower parking lot. You will see our green boats with red paddles on the grass in front of the old grist mill.  Please arrive fifteen minutes before departure time to prepare for our expedition.

From Chapel Hill: Take 15-501 to Durham and then connect with the 15-501 by-pass around West Durham to then merge with Interstate 85 North. Proceed north on Interstate 85 for two miles and then take the Duke Street exit off of Interstate 85.    Proceed north on Duke Street (which becomes Roxboro St.) for three and one half miles and you will come to Seven Oaks Road.  On the left will be a gate with a sign that says "West Point on the Eno Park." From Raleigh, Cary and RDU Airport: Take Interstate 40 towards Durham.  After the airport, take exit #279 onto the Durham Freeway (highway 147). Proceed north on the Durham Freeway for eight miles.  After you pass the Durham Bulls stadium on the right, take exit #12c onto Duke Street. Proceed north on Duke Street for exactly 5.2 miles and you will come to Seven Oaks Road.  On the left will be a gate with a sign that says "West Point on the Eno Park."
