TREE CAMP

                     WINTER TREE CAMP
         At OCCONEECHEE MOUNTIAN

                          Hillsborough, NC
              December 26th - February 27th

Join RIverdave for an all day, adult nature exploration experience known as Tree Camp. Through the course of the calendar year, this program will be offered at several different natural areas in Durham and Orange Counties.

My winter 2010 Tree Camp sessions will be held along the Eno RIver at the Occoneechee Mountain State Natural Area in Hillsborough, NC. This is an area that I am very familiar with, as I led many hikes on the mountain in the early 1990s, helping lay the groundwork for preservation there. I also was a representative of the Eno River Association that made the case for preserving the natural area when we asked for funding from the Natural Hertitage Trust Fund.

Riverdave will be offering Tree Camp this winter each Saturday from 10AM till 4PM, and on any other day of the week by special request, from December 26 - February 27, 2010.  If you have been sending your own children or grand children off to nature camp, perhaps its time to consider sending yourself off to an adult nature camp!
